Healthy Apple Sauce

Apple sauce is so tasty – especially when it’s homemade. Add it to your favourite main meals – roast pork and apple sauce goes together like nothing else!

Healthy Apple Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 Granny Smith Apples, Peeled And Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Mixed Spices
  • 1/2 cup Water


Method

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a saucepan and cover
  2. Cook on a low heat for 20-25 minutes until they are soft and squishy
  3. Blend or mash until you have a desired consistency
  4. Allow to cool

Notes

Tip: You can add 1 tbsp of caster sugar if you prefer it to be sweeter
